Global Camps Africa changes the lives of South Africa’s vulnerable children and youth by providing HIV/AIDS prevention education and training through high-impact residential and day camp experiences and continuing education, equipping young people with the life skills that will support them in becoming safe and productive adults who have hope for the future. What began as a belief in the power of camp has become a model for changing the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable children. Stack the Caps for Kids with Cancer hostsis events around the world to an annual drive to provide new baseball caps to children with cancer. Over 6400 feet of caps have been stacked since 2008, and Stack the Caps plans supporting events to keep stacking until they hit one mile. Leaders are invited to organize their own events to stack caps in their own local communities and schools and donate hats to their local children’s hospitals. Whimsy World is a Miami-based non-profit organization supporting children with cancer, disabilities and living in impoverished communities through art, music, wellness and creative expression.

Design a postcard, write a special message and Whimsy World will deliver it to children in hospitals nationwide. (postcards should not say "get well soon" "feel better" or contain any drawings of illness or hospitals)

Elevate – New York incorporates 13 vital character qualities and life skills into our daily classroom curriculum through a variety of writing exercises, reading materials, and group discussions. These qualities and skills are designed to develop the personal character and capabilities needed for success. On the most immediate, practical level we aim to increase school attendance and improve academic test scores.
