Make a Playdate with Happy Camper Live

Written By: allison miller

Right now, playdates as we know them, are pretty much sidelined. But, that doesn’t mean that kids can’t still play together.

Whether it’s with friends, family, or even a favorite babysitter, all of these playdates can be done virtually.

How?

With Happy Camper Live!

At Happy Camper Live, kids can explore a wide variety of activities as they interact with other kids online. As long as both kids are logging in to the site at the same time, it can be a virtual playdate that doesn’t require you to provide the snacks!

Explore Happy Camper Live with Friends

Letting your kids explore Happy Camper Live with friends is easy. Set up a video call or phone call so the kids can see and hear one another. That’s where the interactive part comes in.

Next, have them choose an activity they will both enjoy. Let them watch the videos and try the activities together. Both kids can play the role of campers or one can take on the role of counselor. It really depends on what activity they’re choosing.

If they’re choosing a sport, it may be best to have them try the videos together. If they’re doing one of the arts and crafts classes or camp activities, like cheerleading, they can take turns being counselors and campers. The idea is to let them explore the activities and interact with one another although they’re not physically together. Happy Camper Live allows them to not only try new activities but also feel as though they’re still with their friends. This is an important component right now because many kids are missing being with other kids.

Explore Happy Camper Live with Parents

Parents don’t need to be left out of the Happy Camper Live experience. During this time, many parents are finding more time to spend with their kids. What better way to do this than with the various activities Happy Camper Live offers?

Kids can take the role of campers as they try different activities while parents can serve as counselors. Better yet, parents and kids can take on the role of campers and do the activities together. Many parents would love to learn a new instrument or try to become a singer. This also gives parents and kids to make memories and have something to bond over.

Here’s an idea. If you try these activities with your kids and you begin to perfect your new skills, have a family talent show. You can have other family members be the judges or you can perform over a video chat platform for other family members to judge. Either way, you’re spending time together and possibly even connecting with other family members who you don’t see regularly.

The same can be done if your child has a special babysitter they’re missing these days. Call up the babysitter and set up a virtual session where everyone can see each other and take part in the activities.

Happy Camper Live provides kids and families with so many opportunities to learn new things and get together. We offer sports activities, arts & crafts, music, singing, and acting activities as well as your favorite camp activities. With so many activities and choices to get together, there’s no such thing as being stuck at home with Happy Camper Live.
