Mosaic balloon numbers and words have always been a big hit for any party, whether it be a birthday, retirement, pool party, or graduation. They’re cost friendly and super easy to make. Here is an easy way to make your very own balloon mosaic with five easy steps.
Materials needed:
• Balloons
• Glue gun
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Pencil
• 3 Foam boards
*Depending how big your numbers will be will determine how many boards you need, for this example we only need 3.
Step 1: Draw your numbers on the boardsWith your pencil and ruler, you will draw your numbers how big you want them on each board. It doesn’t have to be perfect, different is better and gives your numbers character!
After you drew the numbers out have a parent help you with cutting them out.
Step 3: Make the borderWith the third board you are going to cut it up to make an inch boarder around your numbers to keep the balloons in place. Glue the borders down with a glue gun.
Use whatever color balloons you want and blow them up to whatever size you’d like for the mosaic. Make sure they fit, and they aren’t the size of your head.
Step 5: Create the mosaicWith your glue gun you will glue small dots to place the balloon on your board. Make sure the glue isn’t too hot to place your balloons on or it will burn and pop the balloon.
There you have it, your Mosaic Balloon Number. You now have an Instagramable decoration to take a picture with at your party!
