Activities
• Name Bingo – Instead of numbers, bingo cards have fun personal facts (“Has a sibling” or “Can juggle”). Campers must find someone who matches each fact and learn their name before marking a spot. It’s a great way to break the ice!
• Night Name Whisper – Sitting in a circle under the stars, softly say the name of the person to your right with a positive phrase (“Sally, queen of kindness”). Pass it around and spread appreciation!
• Yes, and… – A classic improv game where one camper makes a statement (“I saw a flying turtle today!”), and the next camper builds on it (“Yes, and… it was wearing sunglasses!”). The rule? No shutting ideas down—just keep the fun going!
• Overload – A fast-paced, multitasking challenge where one camper, the main character, must:
• Answer math questions from the camper on their right.
• Answer personal questions from the camper on their left.
• Copy movements from the camper in front of them.
• If they hesitate for more than three seconds, the questioner says “Beep, beep, beep!” until they respond.
• Play continues until the main character hits overload!
These quick, high-energy games help campers build confidence, connect, and have fun. Try them at your next camp session!
