April Fools’ Day is the perfect time to bring some silly fun into your home! This April Fools’ Day (April 1), have some fun moments with your kids.
Color-Changing MilkAdd a few drops of food coloring to the bottom of your kid’s cereal bowl. When they pour in the milk, it magically changes color!
Pour their morning juice into a cup and secretly add gelatin the night before. When they try to take a sip, they’ll get a spoonful instead!
Stuff some tissue paper into the toes of their shoes so they suddenly feel too small. Watch their confused reaction before letting them in on the joke!
Take a screenshot of their favorite tablet or TV home screen and set it as the background. Then hide the actual apps. “Why isn’t anything working?!”
If you’re feeling extra sneaky, coat an onion in caramel instead of an apple. Just make sure they don’t take too big of a bite!
Googly-Eye TakeoverStick googly eyes on everyday objects around the house—milk cartons, bananas, the toilet seat—so everything is suddenly staring at them!
Remember, the best pranks are all about laughter, not frustration. Keep it lighthearted, and enjoy a day full of giggles and surprises with the kids!
