Mother’s Day is right around the corner, so here are some ideas on how to spend the day with mom. It doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to show mom how much she means to you and the rest of the family.
Start the day with a delicious breakfast! It’s time to let mom enjoy being pampered. Get up a little early and make mom’s favorite meal or some breakfast treats. Some special breakfast treats ideas include: waffles, pancakes, French toast, or homemade muffins. Serve with some coffee or orange juice. Make it extra special by serving mom’s breakfast in bed.
Get outside and spend the day exploring your neighborhood. Spend Mother’s Day on a scavenger hunt. Create a list of all of mom’s favorite places and go visit them. Take pictures of your adventures so you’ll have fun memories to look back on. Check out Happy Camper Live’s Mother’s Day Scavenger List!
It’s the little things that make mom feel pampered. Give her a back rub, paint her nails, or draw up a bath with a fancy bath bomb and soaps for her to enjoy.
Mother’s Day is a great time to tell mom how much she means to you. Write it out. Make or download a Mother’s Day card and write out all the reasons you love mom. Put your creative energy to work and make a special video or piece of art. These are gifts mom will treasure for years to come. Need inspiration? Try making one of our Mother’s Day cards available here.
This might be a mom favorite! Helping pick up around the house is one way to make your mom’s day! A quick pickup of toys, dirty clothes and trash is the way to start. Get your whole family involved in doing some of the dreaded household tasks like folding and putting away the laundry, washing the dishes or vacuuming.
We hope this helped you with some ideas for how to celebrate your mom this Mother’s Day! Check out Happy Camper Live’s Mother’s Day celebration ideas!
