Hi, I’m Matt, your art counselor with Happy Camper Live. Today we’re going to learn how to paint your very own memory box. Start by painting the entire box with your favorite color. Make sure you are using a full stroke all the way around. Taking the lid off of your memory box while painting it might make it look better. When you’ve finished painting it, put some glue all over the lid of your box and sprinkle some glitter on it. Another fun idea is to write your name and any of your friends’ names who were making a box with you on top of your box to remember it. The great thing about a memory box is you can keep it next to your bed, or give it as a gift between you and your best friend. Continue to design it however you like, but here are some ideas: Polka dots, stripes, zig zags, or even words or initials. Now get out there and start painting some memories of your own!
